Kwento-Fi is a community engagement, learning, and rewards platform built for the GoodDollar ecosystem. Developed by the GIMT team, it gives users one accessible place to discover community initiatives, learn about GoodDollar, complete structured tasks, participate in games and community activities, and use G$ on the Celo network.
The platform connects participation with transparent reward flows. Depending on the feature, users can receive G$ through learning activities, approved social tasks, games, community contributions, farming, savings, and the Community Garden. Wallet-linked activity, transaction history, and smart-contract interactions help users understand how their participation becomes measurable on-chain value.
Kwento-Fi is designed for a global audience, including users who are new to Web3. Its goal is to make the GoodDollar ecosystem easier to discover, easier to participate in, and more useful in everyday community engagement.
KwentoFi mission is to make participation in the GoodDollar ecosystem accessible, meaningful, and rewarding for people across different regions and levels of Web3 experience.
The platform aims to reduce the friction of finding community opportunities, understanding how to participate, connecting a wallet, completing tasks, and tracking rewards. By bringing these experiences into one community-first hub, Kwento-Fi helps users move from passive awareness to active contribution.
The project also supports a healthier ecosystem by encouraging learning, responsible participation, transparent reward distribution, and continued engagement. Through G$ utility on Celo, KwentoFi helps connect community education, social contribution, games, and financial participation in one user-friendly experience.
The GoodDollar ecosystem includes users, contributors, educators, community builders, and initiatives across different countries, languages, platforms, and levels of technical experience. However, opportunities to participate are often fragmented across social-media posts, chat groups, separate websites, forms, and disconnected applications.
This fragmentation creates several barriers. New users may not know where to begin or how to identify legitimate initiatives. Existing contributors may miss opportunities because announcements are spread across multiple channels.
Participation requirements, submission processes, reward status, and transaction history can also be difficult to understand or track.
Fragmentation makes it harder for community initiatives to onboard contributors, measure participation, prevent duplicate or invalid claims, and retain users over time. It also limits the practical utility of G$ when users do not have clear, trusted, and accessible ways to use it within the ecosystem.
Without a unified participation layer, strong community interest can turn into drop-off: users discover an initiative but do not complete it, complete an activity but cannot easily track the reward, or remain unsure how their contribution supports the wider GoodDollar ecosystem.
KwentoFi it provides a centralized community engagement and rewards hub for the GoodDollar ecosystem. It brings together learning, social tasks, community features, games, farming, savings, referrals, and the Community Garden in a single platform connected to G$ and the Celo network.
The platform simplifies the user journey from discovery to participation and reward. Users can explore an initiative, follow clear instructions, connect or create a wallet, complete the required action, and view the status of their activity. For social tasks, users submit a valid post link and wait for the required review and approval before a reward is released. For on-chain features, users confirm their own wallet transactions and can review the resulting activity through wallet-linked history and blockchain records.
KwentoFi also improves reward integrity by using eligibility checks, submission validation, approval states, cooldowns, reward pools, and smart-contract rules where appropriate. This helps reduce duplicate claims and makes the difference between pending, approved, completed, and available actions clearer to users.
For the ecosystem, KwentoFi creates a reusable participation layer. Community initiatives can reach contributors through a consistent experience, while users receive more understandable ways to learn, contribute, use G$, and remain engaged over time.
KwentoFi operates on a community-first, impact-driven model rather than a traditional profit-making business model. Its primary objective is to increase participation, education, and engagement within the GoodDollar ecosystem, not to generate revenue.
