# Karma

> Foundations use Karma to run grant programs, donor advisors to research nonprofits, and nonprofits to find aligned funders.

Karma is funding infrastructure for philanthropy. Foundations run grant programs, hackathons, and RFPs, with AI agents handling evaluation, milestone tracking, and impact reporting. Donor advisors build ranked nonprofit shortlists for any cause, geography, or grant size, each with a compliance check, activity score, and mission match. Nonprofits build funder-facing profiles from their own website and search for aligned foundations, grounded in every IRS 990 on record with every answer cited. Karma also runs onchain funding programs where ecosystems fund builders and impact is attested on-chain, on Optimism, Arbitrum One, Polygon, Base, Celo, Scroll, Lisk, Sei.
