Horris is an AI trading and risk infrastructure layer built on Celo. It gives AI agents, bots and developers a safer way to interact with perpetual markets. Horris includes its own perpetual trading engine, deterministic risk checks, wallet-based execution and a Discord interface. The project is open source and registered on Celo under ERC-8004 as Agent ID 9820.
Our mission is to make Celo a safer place for autonomous financial agents.
We want Horris to become reusable infrastructure that allows AI agents to trade, manage risk and interact with onchain markets without giving AI models unrestricted control over funds.
By combining perpetual trading, deterministic risk controls, verifiable agent identity and developer integrations, Horris gives builders the tools to create more capable financial agents on Celo.
AI agents are becoming capable of making financial decisions, but giving an AI direct control over trading and user funds creates serious risks. AI models can make mistakes, use too much leverage, choose unsafe position sizes or produce incorrect calculations.
Developers who want to build trading agents also have to create their own perpetual trading logic, risk engine and execution infrastructure from scratch.
Horris solves this by separating AI decision-making from risk and execution.
Horris provides a shared trading infrastructure that other AI agents and applications can use.
An agent can send a request such as “Long CELO with low risk.” Horris turns that request into a structured perpetual trade plan and independently checks leverage, margin, position size, stop loss and overall account risk.
If the trade breaks the user's risk rules, Horris blocks it. If it passes, Horris prepares it for wallet-controlled execution.
This creates a simple model:
AI proposes → Horris verifies → wallet executes.
Developers will also be able to integrate this infrastructure into their own agents, wallets, bots and DeFi applications instead of building the full trading and risk stack themselves.
Horris will operate as infrastructure for AI agents and developers. The core protocol will remain open source, while revenue can come from API/SDK usage, perpetual trading fees and premium infrastructure for teams building trading agents. The goal is to grow with the agents and applications using Horris rather than depend only on direct retail users.
Want to grow through just grant funding
Global
For Horris specifically, I would put $0 unless Horris itself has already received funding. Then add: “Our team has previously received ecosystem grants/support from ChainGPT, Polygon, Gitcoin/Farcaster and Yellow for earlier products.” This avoids accidentally presenting previous Mushee funding as Horris funding.
