Ethereum México is a community-driven initiative dedicated to expanding the Ethereum ecosystem across the country through education, real-world activation, technical training, and builder-focused events. Since 2022, the organization has connected developers, students, founders, institutions, and global protocols through conferences, hackathons, and university programs, establishing itself as one of Latin America’s leading hubs for Web3 innovation and talent development.
The mission of Ethereum México is to expand and strengthen the Ethereum ecosystem in Mexico by empowering new builders, fostering collaboration across communities, and connecting global protocols with local talent, institutions, and industries. The event aims to accelerate innovation, create real opportunities for developers and founders, and establish Mexico as a leading hub for decentralized technology in Latin America.
Mexico lacks large-scale, accessible, and technically rigorous Ethereum events that connect developers, institutions, investors, and industry experts in the same space. The ecosystem suffers from fragmented communities, limited exposure to cutting-edge technology, insufficient builder pipelines, and a lack of coordination between Web2 companies, government, and Web3 protocols. There are few opportunities for Mexican talent to showcase projects, meet founders, receive mentorship, or build long-term relationships with global teams. Ethereum México addresses this by creating a high-impact environment where education, collaboration, talent discovery, and real-world experimentation can flourish.
Ethereum México 2025 transformed Monterrey into a temporary innovation hub by bringing together more than 1,900 participants for four days of conferences, workshops, networking, and a 36-hour hackathon. Hosted at the Hotel Krystal and the iconic Metropolitan Museum, the event featured 50+ speakers, 9 hackathon tracks, cultural activations, ecosystem showcases, and participation from leading global protocols such as Scroll, Arbitrum, ENS, and Etherfuse. The experience integrated students, founders, developers, investors, and institutions, creating a unique environment where education, collaboration, and Mexican culture converged to inspire the next generation of Ethereum builders.
Ethereum México operates as a nonprofit organization that generates revenue through sponsorships, partnerships, and event programming in order to sustain and expand its impact. Our model reinvests all proceeds into education, community growth, builder support, and the long-term development of the Ethereum ecosystem in Mexico.
