The Large Data Onboarding Pod strengthens Filecoin’s ability to onboard, manage, and retrieve large-scale datasets (1 TiB+) using native protocol mechanisms, improving reliability for storage providers and simplicity for data publishers. It delivers Filecoin-native tooling for end-to-end onboarding, paid retrievals for private and public datasets, and client-facing interfaces for interacting with PoRep peer-to-pool markets without CLI complexity. The project also advances dataset health monitoring and incentive alignment to improve durability, discoverability, and sustainable access across the Filecoin ecosystem.
